East Coast
Things are looking very flat on the east coast for the weekend with no sign of any incoming swell.
South Coast
Tramore is also looking small to flat for the weekend with very light winds all weekend.
South West
Conditions in Garretstown do not look like they will break the 1ft mark on Saturday with Sunday showing very little by way of swell also with 1ft probably being the peak of it with light offshore winds. Inch Beach in Kerry is showing a north west swell which always struggles to get into the bay so I would expect 2ft waves at a push with light offshore winds all day. Sunday should see similar to Saturday but this time from a south westerly swell but with a smaller 9 second period so with less push than Saturday.
West Coast
Saturday shows a north westerly swell for Lahinch which will be dropped in size as it bends around the corner which means that conditions will probably only be 1-2ft at best with very light breezes with the tide high first thing at 8.30am so out of the water until at least 10.30 but then good to go all day thereafter. On Sunday the swell is southerly but its small and will probably only go from 1ft with the possibility of 2ft but only on the tides with it good to get in the water after 11 or so.
North West
In Strandhill the conditions should be 3-4ft with the winds light offshore all day with it bigger in the morning than afternoon so best to get on it early with Sunday showing to have much smaller conditions as it drops back to 1-2ft at best with a much weaker swell. In the Bundoran area Saturday should be the better day with 3-4ft on Tullan Strand and 2ft for Rossnowlagh for the competition but this will be a little slower as the swell has to bend so really only for the longboards out there with winds so light they’re barely breezes. Sunday drops right back so this should only have 1-2ft for Tullan and probably flat for Rossy with offshore winds all day for both spots.
North Coast
Portrush had some chunky conditions on Friday but this looks to drop back a good bit for Saturday with 3ft conditions in the morning with a nice 11 second period and light offshore winds but this will drop back to 2ft by evening and further to 1-2ft by Sunday and 1ft by Sunday evening with offshore breezes still.
