East Coast
Both Saturday and Sunday are looking small to flat for the weekend with no incoming swell enough to bring waves greater than 1ft. Check out Magheramore Surf School for SUP tours on Saturday as the wind is at its lightest.
South Coast
It’s looking small in Tramore for the weekend with 1-2ft conditions with a poor 7 second swell so this will probably only bring waves for lessons with no wind at all. Sunday drops back even further to barely 1ft with very light breezes.
South West
Garretstown is looking small at 2ft for Saturday with a weak 7 second period swell so this will probably only suit foamies or longboards but there’s no winds so it should be ok. Sunday is slightly smaller at 1-2ft so still only in the foamie or longboard range with winds slightly stronger and variable directions but mostly offshore. Inch Beach in Kerry is marginal for waves at the weekend with the swell just below what’s needed to bring waves with Saturday showing 1-2ft with light onshore winds. Sunday is probably going to be small to flat with very light offshore winds.
West Coast
Lahinch is probably going to be small to flat for both Saturday and Sunday with the swell being a little too small. It could break up to 1ft but with a small 7 second period, it will struggle to have any push for anything greater than a foamie for both days. Tides are high before 10am and pm Saturday and around 10:30am Sunday.
North West
Strandhill will probably struggle to break greater than 1ft for the weekend with light breezes with Sunday showing more of the same. In the Bundoran area Tullan May break up to 2ft on the main peak with light onshore winds on Saturday with Sunday having similar conditions but with much lighter winds that are barely winds.
North Coast
Portrush is looking flat for the weekend with light onshore breezes both days so not a lot for surfing I’m afraid.
