East Coast
It looks like there will be some small waves on the east coast this weekend which will mean small wind swell waves coming from the north. These will probably only hit 1-2ft and will probably be weak and best around spots that can handle a north swell. Wicklow will have 1-2ft but with the onshore winds, it will probably be a little mushy on both Saturday and Sunday.
South Coast
Tramore is looking small to flat for the weekend with offshore winds on both days but a lack of swell is unfortunate.
South West
Garretstown is also looking small to flat on both days of the weekend with offshore northerly winds. Inch Beach looks to be below the minimum swell to create waves with moderate cross offshore winds from the north west.
West Coast
Lahinch is another spot that is looking small to flat for the weekend with offshore winds but small swell that will barely break at 1ft. Tides are high at 11am Saturday and after 12 Sunday but the tides are small tides to just over an hour out of the water but with the lack of waves, it won’t be a worry.
North West
Strandhill is going to see waves but the north winds are going to make for messy cross shore conditions that leave no shelter along the north facing coast. Waves should be in the 2ft range but messy Saturday with Sunday looking smaller but still seeing northerly winds so 1-2ft and bumpy. It’s the same for the Bundoran area with 2ft conditions on Tullan Saturday with cross shore moderate winds making for messy conditions and Sunday being small to flat with northerly winds again.
North Coast
Portrush is also not looking good with the northerly winds making for messy onshore conditions on both days with Saturday showing 2-3ft blown over and smaller for Sunday at probably just over 1ft.
