East Coast
Conditions on the east coast are looking small for the weekend with Saturday looking like it will struggle to break over 1ft with moderate winds from the south. Sunday has a small chance of waves in the 1-2ft region but these will be driven from the southerly winds on the Saturday.
South Coast
Tramore is looking like it will be around the 1ft mark starting off on Saturday with moderate onshore winds. Sunday shows it starting off at 2-3ft but building slowly up to 3ft with light cross shore winds all day.
South West
Garretstown is showing 3-4ft waves on Saturday with moderate onshore winds all day long building up to strong onshore by evening. Sunday starts off with a good 4-5ft wave with light cross onshore winds first thing but these do build throughout the day picking up to near 20mph onshore. Inch Beach in Kerry is looking like it is going to be a little messy Saturday with moderate cross shore winds Saturday. On Sunday the winds turn direct onshore with winds from the west which will make for 4ft messy conditions on the beach.
West Coast
Saturday in Lahinch is looking really nice with 3-4ft conditions on Saturday with bigger on sets with the good 12 second period. The winds are looking moderate cross offshore with the gusts picking up strong with the best conditions on the south end of the beach. Sunday looks like it starts off nice with 2-3ft conditions with the winds light from the south so a little cross shore before it turns onshore with 2-3ft conditions for most of the day until evening when it begins to pick up strongly with bigger waves up to 6ft but with onshore winds from late morning on. Tides are high at 7am and pm Saturday and 8am and pm Sunday with fairly large high tides so allow at least 2 hours either side for safe entry and exit.
North West
Conditions in Strandhill are looking small for the weekend as there is a bit of south in the swell so it will probably only get 1-2ft for Saturday with probably flat for Sunday. Winds are moderate cross offshore for Saturday and barely breezes for Sunday. In the Bundoran area it is looking like it will be 2-3ft for the main peak on Tullan Strand but 2ft for the rest of the beach with cross offshore winds all day on Saturday with Sunday looking small to flat until evening time when it might pick up to 2ft with light offshore breezes all morning and light onshore breezes in the afternoon.
North Coast
In the Portrush area it is looking like Saturday will peak around the 1ft mark on East Strand and West Strand with the winds moderate offshore for East Strand and cross for West. Sunday looks flat with offshore winds.
